Albert Bandura & I
One of the most prominent moments in my life as a psychologist. Picture was taken in 2009 in Anaheim, California during the Evolution of Psychotherapy conference, with one of the greatest scientists Albert Bandura.
Albert Bandura is mostly known for his theories of self-efficacy and social learning. Most of us have definitely heard about famous “Bobo doll experiment” which is also Bandura’s work. He has been a president of American Psychological Association and currently he is working at Stanford University.
Unfortunately he couldn’t attend Evolution of Psychotherapy, 2013 due to some health problems. I am very lucky I got a chance to meet him personally in 2009.
One of my favorite Albert Bandura quotes which I use almost in all of my trainings:
“Self-belief does not necessarily ensure success, but self-disbelief assuredly spawns failure” 1997.
